This is one of the most unique boards I own. It's only 7" in diameter and 2" thick. The board is divided into six different scoring areas. They are worth 5, 10, 15, 20, 25 & 50 points from outer most ring to the center. The bull is 63" off the floor and the line is only 6' away from the board. Unlike regular darts, you get four darts/turn as opposed to just 3. The darts weigh a whopping 5 grams each. The board is made of a rye straw and each section is separated by a metal band. The good thing is that once you wear out one side of the board, all you have to do is turn it around and you have a new board all over again.
The rules are very simple. Each player takes turns throwing 4 darts at the board keeping track of the points they scored. This lasts for 5 turns and the player with the most points wins. Simple, eh?
Recommendations: If you've spent much time reading other reviews, you have discovered that if it's dart related and I don't have it, especially if it's different, I've got to try it. This is one of those items. It is nice to have for a change of pace. Words of warning though, you will need to put up a good size backboard. I just used a double layer of cardboard and then painted it, the darts are so light they'll never go all the way through. The reason for this is you are throwing a very light dart at an object that is only 7" in diameter. In the beginning, many darts will be a foot or more above the board until throwers can make the adjustment.
