By-Law Summary of Changes

The following is a list of changes made to the Brandon Area Darts Association By-Laws and Rules and Regulations dated Jan. 18, 2000. These changes were tabled, voted upon and approved during the General Membership Meeting of May 31, 2000. Throughout this review of the by-laws, many grammatical changes were made. Noted grammatical changes do not, however, change the content of the statement and are not listed in this summary.

Summary of Changes

1. BAD Rules and Regulations Article II - An Overview of the League, Paragraph 6(g)9.(Added)League Most Valuable Player (Women).
   
   
2. BAD Rules and Regulations Article III The Team, Paragraph 3(c).(Added)

   The paragraph is added and reads:

   a.        C. Any team identified as utilizing an illegal player through a valid protest will be assessed the maximum possible penalty points until such a time as the accused team captain requests and is granted a Special Committee Meeting to defend the accusation. Only then will penalty points be reinstated.

3. BAD Rules and Regulations Article VI Score Sheets and Penalties, Paragraph 3(b)2. Changed to read "= 3 points per individual, per week, per team."
   
   
4. BAD Rules and Regulations Article VI Score Sheets and Penalties, Paragraph 3(b)3.Changed to read "=5 points per week."

If I have missed any changes pertinent to the overall running of BAD in this document, I apologize in advance. The purpose it to separately identify pertinent information within the By-Laws and Rules and Regulations to maintain harmony within the Association.
